Cosmetics can, and do have inherent health risks that cannot be ignored. Personal care products are a $50-Billion industry in the US alone, yet the government does not require any mandatory testing for these products before they hit the store shelves!
When it comes to chemical additives, I like to use this rule - If you can't pronounce it - Reject it!
